First of all, those of you who say the Unisom works better, surely must know that Unisom is nothing more than high priced Benadryl or any antihistamine with diphenhydramine 25mg. I can get store brand for $4, but I bet you pay a lot more for Unisom. I think this product does work better, but like I said, its not for those who’ve had sleepless nights for many years.

Everyone says that there is nothing you can do to help your child get rid of te molluscum but they are WRONG! Even the pediatrician said they would go away with time and instead a lot more stared to come out. We bought this product as our las hope and it worked like magic. We applied it on my daughter for a couple of weeks and she has not had them since. It has been about a year and a half and there is no sign of molluscum.
I purchased this for my son, who had these horribly large Molluscum contagiosum that were beginning to spread across his back (from his trunk to his underarm to his back). He was so uncomfortable. I used it for 2 days and we saw no relief, but we were so hopeful. The more I used it (as directed) the redder his skin got. I figured that was part of the Molluscum dying and spitting out their insides or something. Then…then he woke up with a rash from head to toe! Literally it was on the bottom of his feet and across his ankles! His groin and his face were spared, but the rash was horrible – large red blisters everywhere! Itching and crying and complaining (he’s 10) and the embarrasment of it all. I was convinced he was covered with Molluscum and took him straight to the Dr. It was; however, an allergic reaction to this product. It might work for some kids, but BE CAUTIOUS.
For the record, the Dermatologist was more than happy to numb my son up and remove the last Molluscum so he is now healing up well …the Molluscum are doing better than his skin! Go to the Dermatologist before trying this. They will help. Our pediatrician did not help.
For any of the parents out there looking to help their children who have been diagnosed with molluscum contagiosum, this product will work for you. At least it worked for my daughter. Her bumps began in August, 2009. Her doctor said there was nothing we could do except wait it out. He said it would be about a year and they would go away on there on. However, they did not go away and new ones were appearing. She started with 5 on her belly. As of one month ago, she had 8 on her belly, 5 on her arm, 4 on her thighs and 10 on the backs of her knees. I bought this product and at first only used it once a day. I wasn’t seeing quick results so I increased it to 2 times per day and WOW what a difference. As of tonight, the white heads on her bumps are gone and they are all healing up very nicely. I cannot tell you how relieved we both are. The product has a strong scent to it, but it goes away fairly quickly. It is well worth the money to try this product if you want the bumps to go away. I am very happy that I read the reviews before I bought the product because they helped me make my decision. I hope my review will do the same for other parents.
This works exactly as described. They made me feel sleepy, not groggy. I started to feel a bit sleepy 20-40 minutes after taking them and they lasted for about 5 hours. I fell asleep easier and woke up refreshed and well-rested without headaches or grogginess.
They contain Valerian in addition to Melatonin. Drug interactions are not clearly described but you can find them both on WebMD’s website. Valerian can be purchased much cheaper by itself. Melatonin is also available for about half the price of this formula. So, if I had to say one thing negative about this product it would be the price.
I don’t remember ever sleeping better. I fall asleep easily and sleep through the night. I’ve had trouble in the past with waking up multiple times during the night, but sleep soundly with Xsomnia. I don’t feel groggy in the morning – no hangover. One thing I did notice when I first started taking it was that I had vivid dreams – almost like I hadn’t been dreaming and my mind was catching up, but now I dream normally.
I’ve had problems sleeping at night for some time. As a result, I’ve tried a lot of different sleeping aids, like Unisom, to help get me to sleep. While the others work, I usually wake up with a headache. I understand the need for a certain amount of sleep with those pills, and definitely play it safe to ensure I’m giving myself enough time to sleep. Like I said, however, I usually wake up with headaches and just not feeling the best. My wife even, after taking some of them herself, had similar experiences.
As a result, and having tried Xritis, a different product make by the same company, I decided to give Xsomnia a try. You know what? It’s changed the way I sleep. I no longer deal with the horrible after effects of those other sleeping pills. I expect its because of the natural ingredients in Xsmonia that makes the difference for me, but I truly feel completely different with this product. I wake up feeling like I’ve had a good nights rest. Best of all, without no headaches or much grogginess.
I was excited about the other reviews on this product. I have a hard time getting to sleep and I refuse to go to a prescription medication. I try herbal remedies and, when I really need sleep, I go to Tylenol PM. I really wanted Xsomnia to work like the other reviewers claim it works for them but it falls short quite a bit. The sleep aids on the market such as Unisom work much better than this product. It’s almost a complete waste to take these pills. I started off taking one then went to two. One did nothing. Two doesn’t do much either. One thing I will say: the dreams that I have are very vivid and easily remembered when taking these pills. However, since I’m not taking them to dream, it’s a near-worthless product as a sleeping aid…unfortunately. I really did want this to work as the other reviewers have stated but it falls short in a major way.
