I’m shocked that the fact that this product exists is not really public knowledge. I happen to be a recently diagnosed diabetic that has no insurance and I must pay for alot of my supplies, the “cash” price… very expensive. A gentleman over hearing me ask for the prices of test strips at Costco, told me about these cheaper, but perfectly fine test strips that you can order online. I have a One Touch Ultra 2 and these strips work PERFECTLY!
are there universal glucose test strips and prick needles for SHG 005 blood glucose meter?
I have a Samsung 005 blood glucose Test strips meter and need supplies for it. I am in the US and their are no supplies available for this particular model of glucose meter. Will universal test strips and prick needles work for it? If so, which ones should I purchase? Thank you--TC

Half the price of Costco! I use these in the One Touch Mini which is great too.
We love these strips. Very little sample is needed compared to other versions of strips. My husband has “leather” skin, so getting a sample is hard. With these, we don’t have that problem. We also like the fact the “DoubleSure” technology double checks the sample to ensure accuracy.
I purchased these because the picture showed the new strips, with the double check. I had the chance to buy the older strips and a lower price, but ordered these because I wanted the new ones. I received the old ones. The shipping was fast and I am glad it was part of Amazon’s free shipping. I just wish I had gotten what was advertised.
Don’t waste your money ,I not recommend to buy such things on online. bcz they will send nearly expire. I got two times experiences. So , I not really wish you suffer like me.
