I found this product at a health food store & it began working on the 3rd night. My Whole Foods doesn’t sell it so I am repurchasing through Amazon. Works well but not the 1st or 2nd night.

This Doctor told me I had severe Sleep Apnea, Because My neck is 20 inches, but He couldn't even test me unles?
I marked 2 or more symptoms on the questionaire. That just doesn't make any sense, guidelines say you have to have 2 or more of the following symptoms: * Excessive daytime sleepiness. * Waking with an unrefreshed feeling after sleep, having problems with memory and concentration, feeling tired, and experiencing personality changes. * Morning or night headaches. About half of all people with sleep apnea report headaches.2 * Heartburn or a sour taste in the mouth at night. * Swelling of the legs. * Getting up during the night to urinate (nocturia). * Sweating Stop snoring sleep apnea and chest pain while you are sleeping.Symptoms of sleep apnea that others may notice include: * Episodes of not breathing (apnea), which may occur as few as 5 times an hour (mild apnea) to more than 50 times an hour (severe apnea). How many episodes you have determines how severe your sleep apnea is. * Loud snoring. Almost all people who have sleep apnea snore, but not all people who snore have sleep apnea. * Restless tossing and turning during sleep. * Nighttime choking or gasping spells.I snore, so does a lot of people I know, not that loud tho. Well I gave in and said yes to a couple of more just so he could test me for sleep apnea. My wife who sleeps next to me every night told him that i didn't have any of these symptoms and she never notice me stop breathing or grasping at night. But the Doctor says I have severe sleep apnea just by examining my neck and throat. He says I stop breathing 40 times a night.Well the Question is - Can anyone tell me why this doctor think I have severe SLeep Apnea just becuase of my neck size? The thing is - He thought I was lying about not having any of those symptoms but I wasn't. That's just like all doctors think if you fat and black you have high blood pressure or diabetes.Sarjeet I'm sorry but you are suggesting the doc is always right and that's just not true. That's why docs are always getting sued and losing their licenses.

This product is easy to use and does help to reduce snoring, although it did not stop it completely. My only problem is that it seems to keep me awake for a while after I first use it. This product supposedly has no side effects, but the three nights I used it, I had trouble falling asleep; perhaps it would help to use at least an hour before going to bed.

I tried this product out of desperation. It worked! I started sleeping more soundly immediately. I didn’t realize that my snoring was affecting my rest. I have allergies, so my snoring is probably a result of congestion and post nasal drip as well as getting older. One drawback–I noticed during the second week that my food had lost its flavor and I believe it is because of this product. Perhaps I should have been more careful to spray only in the back of my throat. I did move it around my mouth and taste it each time I sprayed, which probably was not a good idea. It has a vanilla-like taste, which disappears in seconds. I am waiting for my tastebuds to come back to life before I try it again. I haven’t used it for 2 nights and they haven’t recovered yet. I’ll be more careful next time. I hate to give it up because it stopped the snoring and I was sleeping so much better–and so was my husband. I am happy it worked so well, but disappointed that my sense of taste has been affected. I’m willing to try it again.

I can’t hear myself snore one way or another, but I am sleeping better and my wife hasn’t heard me. Also, she was snoring and used it and I fell asleep and never heard her. So, I give it four stars. Would give 5 but can’t be sure that it’s 100% effective.

I bought this product several months ago. It simply does not work. I’ve used it consistently for a months straight with no improvement to my snoring.

  5. DeLuna says:

The fact that there are multiple sizes and that it’s made out of surgical silicone is great. It’s soft and it includes a little storage case that lets you put the size tube that you chose into so that you can store it and the silicone won’t get dirty, but all four of them won’t fit in the case together.

My problem with the nasal airway opener is that it falls out. I wake up in the morning and I have to find it in the sheets. It’s good that I’m sleeping and I don’t have anyone to be waking up, but it hasn’t stopped me from snoring and i’m still not getting enough air when i sleep. Perhaps one could try a larger size, but I cannot. And that’s due to the nature of my nasal difficulties. I have a deviated septum from a broken nose years ago and a larger size agravates the very thin skin and causes nose bleeds. Mind you, i get these anyway and in no way shape or form would i say this product will cause your nose to bleed, but since my nose often bleeds anyway, this product was sadly not an ideal fit.

I have yet to successfully try other products, but i hope this information is helpful to you.

Okay, 5 stars for me too. I’ve used these for 2 weeks straight and know I won’t be able to sleep without them. I had nostril surgery 4 years ago to rebuild the walls for support and the right one is closing again. I found this on Amazon and although it’s pretty pricey, if it works like for me, it’s worth it. If you feel yourself forcing to breath then either the size is too large or you’ve placed them inside the nostril too deeply. Don’t worry about if they hang out, they don’t fall out (for me anyway). Thanx to all who took the time to write a review and give suggestions.

This product didn’t help my snoring at all. They are also over-priced at $24.94 in my opinion as they are nothing but flexible little plastic tubes. The tubes fit in my nose fine, but I could feel that they were there which was uncomfortable. My partner also told me that my snoring was actually worse the one night I wore them. I do better with breathe-right nasal strips. They aren’t perfect, but I do snore much less when I wear them. I’ll keep looking for a better solution.

I have been using this product for the past 3 weeks and it definately works. I sleep a quite a bit longer and quite a bit deeper. I also don’t wake up nearly as many times as I used to. I have recommended this product to friends and family. Although this doesn’t replace a sleep study and a professional assessment of your sleeping patterns, for the price it is definately a huge step forward. Unlike some other comments, I have had no problems with molding (just follow the instructions), no problem with drooling and no problems with discomfort, no problems with any foul/chemical odors. It just does what it supposed to.

I have also looked into different anti-sore pillows, wedge pillows, memory foam products, and CPAP machines. All of them were at least $100 upwards of several thousand. This is definately a huge bang for your buck.

  9. New says:

I gave it a try for two weeks, it was so uncomfortable that the benefit of the open airway was over shadowed by the rubber mouthpiece I could not get used to. On top of that, for whatever reason, if i slept on my side then in the middle of the night I found find the mouthpiece had fallen out. So, I might try it again. All I can say is it’s a quality product and it really does what it advertises, you do breathe more easily and you do stop snoring. Give it a try, it’s only $25 and if it works for you – it’s well worth the price.

I’ve had this snore guard for over a month now and have slept with it every night. It has almost completely stopped my snoring and sleep apnea. My husband says that he can still hear a very faint snore, but nothing like what I was doing before. My only problem is that the rubbery plastic material that this guard is made from has begun to irritate the tip of my tongue and the inside of my bottom lip. It feels like I’ve taken a sip of really hot coffee and burned the tip of my tongue. I’m starting to worry about long-term effects. I’m tempted to try other mouth guards on the market, but I really like how effective this one is. I don’t know what to do. I don’t want to discontinue using it, but I can’t keep going around with a sore tongue. I’m thinking of wrapping it in plastic wrap tonight to see if that makes a difference. The irritation is not really bad enough that I wouldn’t still recommend the product as long as it doesn’t have any long-term effects. Also, my mouth guard arrived without the literature pictured and I wonder if it is a cheap imitation of the real product. There were some very basic directions printed on plain white paper with no logos or brochure.

too bulky. I gave it 2 months to get used to, my GF still says i snore, i spit out the mouth piece midsleep because it’s for uncomfortable. you get what you pay for

  12. Hanson says:

When my husband developed a snoring habit it was almost impossible for me to get a good nights rest. It would get so bad that I would have to sleep on the couch! I researched snore remedies and came across Snore Hush and decieded to purchase a bottle for him. Let me tell you I couldnt be more satisfied with the results. This product really works! No longer am I up all night trying to block out those harsh snores! As a matter of fact his breathing now while sleeping is relaxing! I definitely will be re-ordering Snore hugh again and again.

  13. Macela says:

Don’t bother, it’s a total waste of money!!!! I followed the directions to the letter and even used a timer. The plastic rolled up before I could pop it in my mouth. In addition, it shrank to the size for a toddlers use. My suggestion, go to your doctor &/or dentist and get the device from a professional. Short cuts do not work with this type of device!!!
