After ordering several different silastic jaw advancement devices- this was the cheapest but similar or better in quality to all the others selling for several times as much. This device did not stop snoring for me, but seemed to help sleep without interruption.
LIke reading glasses, I seem to repeatedly loose or misplace this item, so bought three and plan or replacing these as I run out.
I need serious help!!! How do you block a neighbor from muting your television?
I have lived in a complex that has NO installation for several years now. A little over a year ago, new loud neighbors have moved in the apartment above me and the couple do NOT sleep regular hours. I NEED 7-8hrs and they sleep about 3hrs EVERY night! I work. They do not. Because there is NO installation between our units. I hear EVERYTHING they do, if my unit is quiet. So I have started sleeping with the TV on since my body became soooo drained trying to deal with lack of sleep and I even started missing work, because I was too tired to go. Since then, I started sleeping with the TV Stop snoring Devices on. I was able to get enough sleep to take care of most of my daily activities, like work for weeks. However, my neighbors HATE that I sleep with it on all night, because they want it quiet when they're trying to sleep. I've tried talking to them politely, then humorously, then yelling at them and banging on my walls etc. They have told me, I just need to learn to deal with it. Well, my way of dealing with it, is trying to block them out with my tv. It's not blaring out. I keep it on a medium level when sleeping. But they can still hear it.Anyway, they now have figured out a way to mute my tv at night when I'm sleeping and they still wake me up. Because I snore..lol...yesss, I snore...but not so loud I sound like a train..lol. Anyway, when they hear me stop snoring, they turn the sound back on. This goes on numerous times a night and for weeks now. I am miserable, but can't afford to sell my unit and move. So can someone...anyone...pleaseeee tell me how to stop them from doing this??? I use a comcast cable box and believe they do too, if that helps. I have also noticed that when I turn my box off and leave the tv on, the picture goes away but the sound remains for a few more seconds before cutting off. What device to they have and how do I stop them??? I am so very very tired and NEED sleep!!!!Signed,Really Miserable

This has worked great for my husband. He snores sporadically without it, waking me often. When using it, he snores much less, not as loud, and does not wake me as often. I think we both sleep much better.
Not a cure, but a tiny little device that makes it much better to sleep together.
I no longer find the need to sleep on the couch!!
The snoreclipse helped to reduce the level of snoring although it constantly fell off which kept me looking for it during the night. If you move constantly while sleeping this is not for you.
I love this product. I have a deviated septum and if I don’t use this product, I simply can’t breathe. I wish they wouldn’t have taken these out of the stores but I am so glad these are available through Amazon! I’ve used the strips before but they make my nose sticky. These are better and last longer! Also, because they have magnets, I think they work better and I can get a better placement versus the clips that have the bigger balls on the end, those pinch and do nothing for my breathing.
I had been buying these for over a year and they stopped stocking them so I found them here! Using them at night stops snorng and has helped prevent sinus infections which I used to always get.
I read the enclosed instructions. The mouthpiece just started to stick to the container as soon as it entered the hot water. I removed it early and it was still too soft. It collapsed upon itself. The breathing hole completly closed and it is not even salvageable as a mouthguard.
It is a waste of money. I guess you get what you pay for. Do not buy this one!!!
I bought this item and it is to small for an adult nose unless, you have a very small nose! I put it in and it cut down my air flow. I could breath better without it! It got here fast, but not worth it for me!
If it had a larger size diameter and the tubes were a bit longer it might be an ok device. Seems they only have *medium* and that seems *very small*!
Snoreben – Say Goodbye to Snoring and Hello to a Quiet Comfortable Nights Sleep
I felt ashamed to have passed judgment on Snoreben without giving myself the time to adapt to this extraordinarily simple but effective product. I was somewhat frustrated when I found that the product was not meeting my initial expectation. Having bought 3 pairs of Snoreben, I felt like I have been ripped off. The frustration is a reaction to almost 2 decades of suffering from snoring without finding any means to overcome it.
Somehow, something in me told me that I should get back to using Snoreben and put some faith in this little product.
I have to admit that even though Snoreben was hard to adapt to initially, the first positive feeling that I felt when I used Snoreben was that the airflow in my nasal (passageway) felt a lot better. I could breathe easier even though it looks like something was sticking and blocking my passageway. And the best thing was that I no longer wake up to a dry and uncomfortable mouth!
So after using Snoreben for close to 2 months, I have POSITIVE feedback from my wife as well as a friend (after rooming with him during an outing) that my snoring has reduced a lot. Knowing that my snoring is not frighteningly loud and embarrassing is already a big step forward, and I know that with continued use of Snoreben, I will see improvements to my sleep and my marriage.
This product works great. I needed something to keep my nasal passages open while sleeping. I tried several other products trying to find the best one. The Snoreben did the job. I now rest and breathe comfortably at night.
The cones are very small. My nostrills are not even large and these were far too small for me. Try Nozovent. A much more universal product.
I have been using this product for the past 3 weeks and it definately works. I sleep a quite a bit longer and quite a bit deeper. I also don’t wake up nearly as many times as I used to. I have recommended this product to friends and family. Although this doesn’t replace a sleep study and a professional assessment of your sleeping patterns, for the price it is definately a huge step forward. Unlike some other comments, I have had no problems with molding (just follow the instructions), no problem with drooling and no problems with discomfort, no problems with any foul/chemical odors. It just does what it supposed to.
I have also looked into different anti-sore pillows, wedge pillows, memory foam products, and CPAP machines. All of them were at least $100 upwards of several thousand. This is definately a huge bang for your buck.
too bulky. I gave it 2 months to get used to, my GF still says i snore, i spit out the mouth piece midsleep because it’s for uncomfortable. you get what you pay for
I’ve had this snore guard for over a month now and have slept with it every night. It has almost completely stopped my snoring and sleep apnea. My husband says that he can still hear a very faint snore, but nothing like what I was doing before. My only problem is that the rubbery plastic material that this guard is made from has begun to irritate the tip of my tongue and the inside of my bottom lip. It feels like I’ve taken a sip of really hot coffee and burned the tip of my tongue. I’m starting to worry about long-term effects. I’m tempted to try other mouth guards on the market, but I really like how effective this one is. I don’t know what to do. I don’t want to discontinue using it, but I can’t keep going around with a sore tongue. I’m thinking of wrapping it in plastic wrap tonight to see if that makes a difference. The irritation is not really bad enough that I wouldn’t still recommend the product as long as it doesn’t have any long-term effects. Also, my mouth guard arrived without the literature pictured and I wonder if it is a cheap imitation of the real product. There were some very basic directions printed on plain white paper with no logos or brochure.
I gave it a try for two weeks, it was so uncomfortable that the benefit of the open airway was over shadowed by the rubber mouthpiece I could not get used to. On top of that, for whatever reason, if i slept on my side then in the middle of the night I found find the mouthpiece had fallen out. So, I might try it again. All I can say is it’s a quality product and it really does what it advertises, you do breathe more easily and you do stop snoring. Give it a try, it’s only $25 and if it works for you – it’s well worth the price.
This is a fantastic mouthpiece, comfortable to wear, and really stops the snoring. We were sleeping in separate rooms. I just couldn’t tolerate his snoring anymore. And now we’re back together.
