I personally liked this product very much. I’ve been dealing with allergies and using the strips really helped me to sleep comfortably. My daughter had a hard time keeping them on her nose but I had no problems.
Would health insurance cover this?
If I got insurance in November that activated as of December and in December Passages snoring I was told by a doctor I needed an operation (to open nasal passage that makes it hard to breathe when sleeping causing snoring etc) would that be considered pre-existing even if not diagnosed before?

I could breathe better with the strip, but I felt like I was going to bed in my glasses. I ended up removing the strip all but one night because it felt odd on my face. I would recommend people to try the strips. They do work.
My Breathe Right Nasal Strips arrived at just the right time. Allergies had my nose all stuffy and congested. I put on one of the strips, and voila, I had an air passage open. You have to have been totally congested to understand what I mean by relief. It felt just like I was breathing for the first time. Oh, what a difference they made! I would recommend that anyone with allergies or colds try these to feel instant relief in the breathing department.
I was amazed at how well the product worked, both for myself and a friend. I would definitely recommend it, particularly to people who’re suffering from a cold or allergies, or who snore. I’d suggest, however, that if you’re purchasing them for an adult, you probably want to buy the large size. The only problem was that they came off at night a few times, which I think was due to their size.
I’d seen these strips in stores before and was very skeptical — I couldn’t see how a piece of plastic stuck to your nose could do anything other than make you feel silly. Well, you do feel a little silly but it also does help. If you’re looking for a miracle cure for congestion or snoring, this can’t live up to your expectations — but it does help. Quite a lot actually. It gave my husband, who has all kinds of allergy and sinus problems, a better night’s sleep than he’s enjoyed for a long time. For this alone, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you give it a go.
I was just getting over a cold when I received these and was surprised at how well they worked. I’d definitely recommend this product. They didn’t work as well as a nasal spray but they did work better than oral decongestants. They feel a little strange stuck on your nose but not too uncomfortable.
I guess I am “”lucky”" in that I just happened to get a cold when I got my nasal strips. I thought I’d like that the nasal strips where made with Vicks but it didn’t seem to be enough to make a huge difference. But then again I was REALLY stuffed up. Using regular Vicks Vapor Rub gave me more relief. I think that for mild congestion this product might be more beneficial.
This product was okay. I think it may have improved the air flow through my nose a little bit, but not significantly. The first night that I wore it the strip fell off.
The Vicks doesn’t seem particularly strong but it’s soothing. It doesn’t seem more effective than the regular Breathe Right strips, but I like the Vicks scent. These seem like a wonderful alternative to help you sleep when you can’t use nasal spray. I would have loved these when I was pregnant.
I can’t recall the last time I discovered a product that has made such a huge change in my life. I’ve had problems sleeping well for the longest time, and I finally decided to try these strips to see if they might help. For me, they’ve been something of a miracle. I haven’t slept this well in years! I now buy them 4-6 boxes at a time to be sure I won’t run out. They’re easy to use, comfortable to wear and they help me breathe more easily through my nose so I sleep more peacefully. I can’t recommend them highly enough!
I have tested the Breathe Right Spray earlier but it wasn’t solved my problem, snoring while asleep!
The same product, Breathe Right Spray was a fair solution for a friend of mine when I gave him a bottle to try it. So I’m the unlucky one!
Then I started thinking about the Nasal Strip to help me stop snoring if my snore comes out from my nose then I used it one time but was very disappointed. It wasn’t worked out!
So I figured out that the source of my snore is my throat not my nose but the Spray is not good enough to stop it.
Anyway I found the Nasal Strip very useful for me not for snore-stop but to breathe right in a really enjoyable way. It was a good experience I have never had before!
I most recommend this product for anybody who has any of his/her two nose’s chambers blocked for some reason to use it all the time specially for the time you do sport or are asleep.
It’s a perfect item to breathe right!
I have had a seriously deviated septum and cannot breath out of one nostril since I was a small child. I did not want the surgery as I know many people who had it and said it was a lot of pain for not much improvement. A doctor suggested the Breathe Rite strips to stop my mouth breathing at night and resulting snoring. I cannot believe how well these work. They pick up the nostrils and I can breath out of both of them for the first time in my life. I would like to wear them all day if I could.
At the time of this review this is the very best priced. It’s only about 22.5 cents per unit. That truly beats all the others. But don’t get too excited – this one does not have free shipping and some of the others do. You have to factor that in since it’s an expense. The only way to know the price is to itemize per nasal strip. It doesn’t matter how many come in a box. What counts is only the price per unit, providing the size unit is your size (large, medium or small).
If you shop for the best price right now and are willing to get it by subscription, you can get them for 28 cents per. Even so, it’s not cheap enough over the long run if you intend to use them every night. The price simply has to come down eventually. That’s $102.20 per year for this habit at the cheapest price. And it’s just for a little strip that sticks on your nostrils and makes them flare out a little. Of course, it’s a great product because it works. It will definitely help you breathe better at night. The manufacturing costs are low and therefore I’d like to see the price come down some.
Of course, prices change and this one might become the best price per unit at any time. I think that anybody that has tried this product will agree that it works in that it helps one breathe much better during sleep. Yet out of fair play, I strongly believe this product should be reduced in price per unit substantially since it has such a high margin.
I’ve now twice ordered the Breathe Right Nasal Strips, Large, Clear. Both orders were shipped very quickly. Unfortunately, both times I received the tan strips, rather than clear. The color really isn’t the issue. However, the clear strips are for sensitive skin, and the adhesive on the tan strips is way too irritating for my household.
I would never have placed the second order if I’d known it was the same seller. The order and packing slip name the seller as “Potential Dynamix LLC”, but the product info page that comes up when searching for the product calls the seller “DAB Nutrution.” I don’t know if they are doing this to be deliberately misleading, but it is very confusing. Since Amazon fulfills the orders, I don’t even know if the problem is the seller’s or if it’s Amazon’s. Two boxes of strips are packaged together in a pouch. The label on the pouch has the same product number that is shown on the packing slip, but no product description.
Guess I’ll just return the latest shipment, and look elsewhere for the correct product. It’s too bad because the prices is great, and keeps being lowered. However, if they can’t ship the right product good price and fast shipping are meaningless.
My wife often complained about by snoring. There appeared little I could do other than sleeping in the guest room. Then, after I communicated her complaints to my primary physician, I underwent a sleep test. Suddenly the problem became clear. According to the doctor, I was getting very little sleep and my health was deteriorating.
In the test they found that I awakened about three hundred times during the night. They explained that when I became relaxed my Uvula relaxed and closed off my trachea. When I would stop breathing my system would awaken me enough that I could take a breath, but not fully awaken. Since it was happening over three hundred times each night, I was getting little REM sleep.
So I found Breathe Right strips. I do not understand the technology, but somehow I no longer snore and I get better sleep. I strongly recommend these to anyone who snores, and even people who are tired all the time – maybe you do not know you have a problem, I didn’t. Personally, I intend to use these little marvels every night.
BTW: Many months later, my physicians ordered a CPAP machine for me to use while sleeping. With the combination of CPAP and Breathe Right, my sleep has improved greatly and my health has improved.
Wow, easy to apply and easy to take off.
I don’t use these every night, but you can feel the ease of breathing IMMEDIATELY. The packaging mentions like a 20-30% improvement in breathing, which doesn’t sound like a lot, but trust me, it is.
The price is fantastic, and the fact that this particular model is clear makes me feel a lot less like a GOON in bed with my wife and she’s mentioned that she hears less snoring as well. I mean, what could be better than sleeping peacefully, not snoring and not feeling like a GOON in bed?
The packaging feels a lot like a bandaide you apply to your nose. If you’ve never used these – it’s not brain surgery. Essentially, there’s a type of strong support that when applied with a strong adhesive causes your nostrils to separate a little bit. There’s also a bit (a tiny bit, non-intrusive) of menthol that aids in breathing.
I don’t know how else to put it besides being an answer to prayer! Spray has caused me a bit of a nasty backwash, sleeping pills leave me feeling groggy, but this thing is just plain perfect.
After having a lot of trouble at night with my girlfriend because of my snoring I start to use the Nasal Strips. They work fine for me for at least 4 weeks. But there are some disadvantages why I no longer use them. The first thing is that you have to place the strip very very accurate to get a good breath effect. The second thing is the kind of pain by detaching the strips. The third thing are the costs for always buying new strips. But the most disadvantage for me is that you look very dumb when you are wearing the Nasal Strip. At this time I use the so called “Snore Stopper” buying from Amazon. Its one little silicon spiral which you can put in your nose during nighttime. They are far ahead in enhancing your breathe at night. You wear them inside your nares and so they look much more unobtrusive. You only pay once and can use them for years. You also can put them in a dishwasher for cleaning. In every pack there are 2 snore stops. So I leave one at my girlfriends home and one at my home. My girlfriend say that the strips was good but the Snore Stopper are a dream.. So my sleep at night works much better for me and finally these little piece had been saving my relationship with the love of my life. Sorry for my bad english…There are a few products with the same name. I meant this one from the german Snore Stopper Company..http://www.amazon.com/Snore-Stopper-90680/dp/B003GUTG06/ref=sr_1_20?ie=UTF8&s=hpc&qid=1273847446&sr=8-20
I love these nasal strips. I have a deviated septum and as long as I’m wearing these, I no longer wake up in the middle of the night because my nose is clogged up. The only problem I have with this style in particular is when I take them off in the morning they are often stuck so strongly that it hurts to pull off. I eventually get sores on my nose from pulling the skin off so often. I’m going to switch back to the clear ones because they don’t cause that problem.
