I have been the perpetrator of nasal snoring (as opposed to throat snoring) for many years. (sorry, dear wife!) I have tried a great number of interventions – some of which do not apply because it is dependent on my sleeping position, some of which did not work for a variety of reasons. The most common devices to keep the nasal passages open are the strips that adhere to the outside of the nose: great if they have enough force to do their job and enough adhesive to keep them there. Not so great with that sticky remnant every morning unless they have already peeled off overnight. Some in-the-nose devices have worked better to keep the nasal passages open, but they were far from comfortable. Anything with sufficient clamp to hang onto your septum overnight is going to be annoying. So, when I saw Nasivent I thought I would give it a try. Made from surgical grade silicone tubing, the four sizes provided will surely include one that fits your nose. I found that two worked well with

good product from the seller, hurt my throat a little, but got used to the strips. nice job
I bought this for my husband who snore’s and it does not work and i was very surprised because it came highly recommended by amazon users….My husband used it for two weeks strait and it didn’t even work for one! And to top it off he said it burned his throat really bad this product is no good!!!
dont buy it. I havent seen anything like this ever. Tastes horrible. No help what so ever
This product seems to be the same as those strips that were popular in the candy isles of stores a few years back for bad breath. It didn’t feel like it lubricated anything, but it did have a minty fresh ‘toothpaste’ like flavor. I was quite disappointed to pay $16 for something that used to sell for $3. I give it to my dog to make her breath smell better. I think it’s a waste of money, myself.
I have been using this product for the past 3 weeks and it definately works. I sleep a quite a bit longer and quite a bit deeper. I also don’t wake up nearly as many times as I used to. I have recommended this product to friends and family. Although this doesn’t replace a sleep study and a professional assessment of your sleeping patterns, for the price it is definately a huge step forward. Unlike some other comments, I have had no problems with molding (just follow the instructions), no problem with drooling and no problems with discomfort, no problems with any foul/chemical odors. It just does what it supposed to.
I have also looked into different anti-sore pillows, wedge pillows, memory foam products, and CPAP machines. All of them were at least $100 upwards of several thousand. This is definately a huge bang for your buck.
I’ve had this snore guard for over a month now and have slept with it every night. It has almost completely stopped my snoring and sleep apnea. My husband says that he can still hear a very faint snore, but nothing like what I was doing before. My only problem is that the rubbery plastic material that this guard is made from has begun to irritate the tip of my tongue and the inside of my bottom lip. It feels like I’ve taken a sip of really hot coffee and burned the tip of my tongue. I’m starting to worry about long-term effects. I’m tempted to try other mouth guards on the market, but I really like how effective this one is. I don’t know what to do. I don’t want to discontinue using it, but I can’t keep going around with a sore tongue. I’m thinking of wrapping it in plastic wrap tonight to see if that makes a difference. The irritation is not really bad enough that I wouldn’t still recommend the product as long as it doesn’t have any long-term effects. Also, my mouth guard arrived without the literature pictured and I wonder if it is a cheap imitation of the real product. There were some very basic directions printed on plain white paper with no logos or brochure.
I gave it a try for two weeks, it was so uncomfortable that the benefit of the open airway was over shadowed by the rubber mouthpiece I could not get used to. On top of that, for whatever reason, if i slept on my side then in the middle of the night I found find the mouthpiece had fallen out. So, I might try it again. All I can say is it’s a quality product and it really does what it advertises, you do breathe more easily and you do stop snoring. Give it a try, it’s only $25 and if it works for you – it’s well worth the price.
too bulky. I gave it 2 months to get used to, my GF still says i snore, i spit out the mouth piece midsleep because it’s for uncomfortable. you get what you pay for
I love it and will keep ordering it. Amazon is great source to purchase items. They make it easy and painless. Thanks, Amazon!
Bought this product for my snoring problem. After 10 days using it I’m still snoring. Hope it works for others though. Using this product gave me NO problems at all, simply didn’t work for me.
Asonor Stop Snoring remedy doesn’t seem to be any different than an OTC nasal spray…which can be purchased for MUCH less than this product. I would not buy it again…absolutely no reason to do so when a much cheaper product yields the same result…no snoring.
I’m a truck driver. My snoring has been waking me up during the night, during the past several years. I looked into jaw splint type things. I’ve been using Asonor for about 5 months now. I won’t go without it. When I use it every night, it lets me sleep the entire night through. It makes a difference in how I feel during the day.
I love this product. I have a deviated septum and if I don’t use this product, I simply can’t breathe. I wish they wouldn’t have taken these out of the stores but I am so glad these are available through Amazon! I’ve used the strips before but they make my nose sticky. These are better and last longer! Also, because they have magnets, I think they work better and I can get a better placement versus the clips that have the bigger balls on the end, those pinch and do nothing for my breathing.
The snoreclipse helped to reduce the level of snoring although it constantly fell off which kept me looking for it during the night. If you move constantly while sleeping this is not for you.
This has worked great for my husband. He snores sporadically without it, waking me often. When using it, he snores much less, not as loud, and does not wake me as often. I think we both sleep much better.
Not a cure, but a tiny little device that makes it much better to sleep together.
I no longer find the need to sleep on the couch!!
I had been buying these for over a year and they stopped stocking them so I found them here! Using them at night stops snorng and has helped prevent sinus infections which I used to always get.
My husband has turned into a terrible snorer. Started a few years ago – mostly towards morning. Has gotten to the buzz saw stage where he starts nearly as soon as his head hits the pillow and goes all night until the alarm clock.
He tried the nose strips and sprays and everything else over the counter. Asked his doctor – advised to lose some weight, stop drinking alcohol, avoid certain foods. And none of that was going to happen with him in any consistency enough to possibly make a difference.
We were at the point of trying a mouth guard. Insurance won’t cover the ones the dentist’s provide (over $600 out of pocket!) unless he went the sleep study route and was diagnosed with sleep apnea. Because we were now fighting over the bed at night (who has to go to the couch) we were ready to go thru this process even though there would still be no garuntee the snoring would stop.
Looked online and couldn’t find enough positive stuff to really point to any one mouth guard as being better over the other so I went with one that was, well, the cheapest. For less than $30 I felt it was worth a shot.
We have both now had 4 nights of totally uninterrupted sleep. Me not being forced to endure the noise and him not getting ‘nudged’ constantly. It was truly amazing as the very first night he used it he ceased totally in the snoring!
This device may not be for everyone’s needs but I highly recommend that if you were anywhere near in the same situation as us to definitely give this a try.
The packaging does say it needs to be replaced every 3-4 months – I will happily do this for the results we are getting.
I have been using the SnoreMeds mouthpiece for about 4 months now. I am using the third one and about to order a fourth. I have struggled with non-refreshing sleep for 10 years. The mouthpiece let me wake up refreshed! I do not feel drowsy and have much more energy throughout the day. Molding is not a big deal, just remember to push your jaw forward (comfortably) and bite down hard and hold it that way for at least half a minute. Then put the mouthpiece in ice-cold water. I do wake up with a slightly sore jaw/teeth on some days, but it lasts for a few minutes only.
Also, in my experience, the jaw does not remain in the intended position throughout the night. As I fall asleep, my jaws relax and the teeth are a little bit out of the mouthpiece. Despite this, the presence of the mouthpiece does keep the airway open by preventing the collapse of the upper palate.
Just to check, I slept on some days without the mouthpiece, and felt miserably drowsy the next day! I have been diagnosed with sleep apnea and just could not do the CPAP. Although the manufacturers say the mouthpiece is not for those with sleep apnea, I would say it is good as a temporary remedy. I am now considering a dentist-made custom mouthpiece.
This review and recommendation is entirely based on my experience. Hope yours is similar too!
Don’t bother, it’s a total waste of money!!!! I followed the directions to the letter and even used a timer. The plastic rolled up before I could pop it in my mouth. In addition, it shrank to the size for a toddlers use. My suggestion, go to your doctor &/or dentist and get the device from a professional. Short cuts do not work with this type of device!!!
