CPAP Mask question, I feel like I am suffocating?
I just got my CPAP machine on Friday for sleep apnea, they gave me a nose only mask. I feel like I can't breathe with it, like I'm suffocating or something. I wake up and my heart cpap Mask is beating really fast, I am assuming it is a panick attack of some sort. I am going through the VA, I asked them for a full face mask, but probably wont get it for a week or so, what do I do in the meantime, I really need the machine?My machine is a Remstar Pro M Series.Oh yeah, also, you know the part on the mask at the bridge of your nose? Well, that has been chafing me (I'm all red) how do I help/stop that?Thanks, this is all new to me.
