This pillow cradles your neck with super support while on your back. It keeps you from moving around too much. And, the pillow is really wonderful for side sleeping because when you put your check on the corner of the pillow, it lifts up your head slightly which, in my opinion, keeps your spine much straighter then if your chin was pointing down. Most pillows do not offer this support. Great pillow.
I will also say that the pillow is a little hard which is why it works. I imagine as time goes by, it will break down a little. Love it!
Years ago I purchased this same pillow at a chiropractor’s office for $45 and this one is less than $20 and exactly the same product. I have not suffered from neck problems since I started sleeping on this pillow. I highly recommend it.
This pillow looks very odd, high sides and a hollow in the middle! When I first lay on it I thought it was straining my neck but slept on it anyway and I am so glad I did, it is great for my neck. I had been sleeping on a Tempurpedic pillow but felt I needed more support and this is way better for me, especially as I have sleep apnea and when I turn over my mask fits in the hollow perfectly, so all in all good buy.
I bought this pillow on Amazon hoping it would be like the one I had bought from my chiropractor. well, it was just like the one I had, and half the price! I get a great night’s sleep, as it supports my neck.
I bought the anti-snore pillow from Brookstone last week and the chemical smell is terrible. I’ve been trying to air it out but am also concerned that it’s going to cause cancer or something! Product is not usable unless the smell goes away. It did stop my snoring for the night I used it but I’m afraid of the consequences!
I bought this for my husband for Christmas. At the store they specifically told me it was a “personal item” but I could try it as long as I kept the plastic on it. As I took it out of the box, the plastic ripped so that option was out.
As soon as we took it out, we noticed a very strong chemical smell. It was not usable. We took the case off and washed it twice and the smell did not go away. I called customer service as was told that they package the pillows too soon and that leaves the smell. They told me to roll the pillow up tightly and then unroll it and the smell would go away in 24 hours. Two days later, the smell was still there so I called customer service and repeated my concerns. I was told there was nothing they could do about it since it is a “personal item”. So now I’m out a hundred dollars for a pillow that can not be in the same room as me because it smells so bad it makes my head hurt. We will never shop at Brookstone again and my credit card company has started an inquiry.
