More titles for Test strips

I’m shocked that the fact that this product exists is not really public knowledge. I happen to be a recently diagnosed diabetic that has no insurance and I must pay for alot of my supplies, the “cash” price… very expensive. A gentleman over hearing me ask for the prices of test strips at Costco, told me about these cheaper, but perfectly fine test strips that you can order online. I have a One Touch Ultra 2 and these strips work PERFECTLY!

are there universal glucose test strips and prick needles for SHG 005 blood glucose meter?
I have a Samsung 005 blood glucose Test strips meter and need supplies for it. I am in the US and their are no supplies available for this particular model of glucose meter. Will universal test strips and prick needles work for it? If so, which ones should I purchase? Thank you--TC

Great product for the price especially when compared to their counterparts sold in retail stores.

This kit seemed like a good value for the number of test strips BUT it is an inferior quality product and the results are a hit or miss. Can’t really rely on this kit for accurate results. Better spend your money on something better.

9 months of trying and my husband and I are seeing the dollars pile up. HPT that are always negative, $6000 to reverse his vasectomy from his first marriage, and $$$ on tissue boxes as we try AGAIN cycle after cycle to concieve. I usually buy the 7 days of OPK’s from the store at $18.99 a pop. But just recieved these little jewels today and they are so easy to use, compact so I can slip it in my purse and sneak into the restroom at work to test myself. Crossing my fingers that I won’t need to use all 40 : )

I was throughly impressed with this product. Originally I was skeptical of buying online strips, but these far exceeded my expectations! They are a little thinner than I expected (the same size of a dollar store cassette test strip), but by following the simple instructions, I was able to interpret the results without an issue.

  5. McIvor says:

They seemed to not have worked well on me, half of mine were pre-positive. :)

So, by the time I got these I had already started my period. I’ve had these for about two months and I have yet to use one. However, a friend of mine was looking for a cheap way to keep her POS habit without paying the price. She says these are accurate, and they aren’t hard to use. My only complaint was how long they took to get here. They got here the day AFTER I left my state, and by the time I got back, I was already well informed. I’m definitely buying them again when I start trying. They come in inconspicuous packaging, and each are individually wrapped and are also pretty inconspicuous. I’ve had them in my bathroom for 2 months and my fiance hasn’t said a thing about them. Definitely worth the buy, ladies!

These tests are great. I just tested 10 days after ovulation, about 4 days before my period was due and got a very faint line. I’m high risk when pregnant so I called the doctor and had a blood test done which confirmed my HCG levels were at 10. This test picked up an HCG level of 10. Unbelieveable! Definitely recommend these tests and the ovulation tests that the company sells.

For the past 5 months I was convinced these tests just wouldn’t ever work…all I ever saw was a big blank spot where a 2nd like would be. But since I had 25 of them I figured I’d keep using them until they were gone before investing in FRERs. So imagine my surprise this month when I decided to test on Father’s day, a few days before my missed period, and low and behold the tests do work! The line came up very clear in less than one minute. Naturally it wasn’t as dark as the control line, I was only 11 DPO, but there was no squinting required! The next morning I got a FRER and a $ store test and tested with each of those in addition to the Wondfo and the Wondfo came up clearer, earlier and darker. I highly recommend these tests if you like to test often!

I ordered and received this product. However, my test strips do not look exactly like the ones pictured. Instead of standard blue wrap at the end, these wraps are red. Each test is individually packaged with “stay dri” pellets (like!). But the label on the outside of the wrapper states “Test for Best” with text in Ukrainian. Hmmm.
Overall, still an excellent bargain – even cheaper than the Dollar Store hpts. But I wish I knew what a positive test would look like.

I’ll admit it – I am obsessed with testing, but hated that I was spending so much on the ’store-bought’ tests. I even tried the dollar store variety, but was not happy with them. These, however, are absolutely perfect. All you need is a cup (which was actually a nicer experience than using a stick)… you just dip the stick up to the line for 3 seconds and wait (the packaging says 5 minutes). You can test twice a day, if you want, and not feel like you are throwing your money down the toilet. :-)

These tests are awesome! Not only do you get 50 for the price of a box of 2 in the store, but they work! I have had positive results twice and both were very early on. One pregnancy, unfortunately, ended in miscarriage but it was detected before I had even missed my period. My current pregnancy, I could barely make out a line…and when I say barely, I mean it could not have been any less there and been noticeable. I went in for a blood test and my HCG levels were at 5!!!!! That is the cutoff for even qualifying as pregnant…it was THAT low! I have continued to test since I have so many extra, just for peace of mind that the line is getting darker and this pregnancy is sticking around and they do just that!

  12. Ngo says:

I am so disappointed that these tests were labeled to be WONDFO brand and they weren’t. The package labeled them as “Test for Best” brand, and they look NOTHING like Wondfo’s tests. They have a red “handle” with no identifying markings (ie, does not say HCG on it) and are SUPER thin.

That, however, is not the worst part about these tests. Over the last 3 days I have taken several tests trying to detect early pregnancy. I am at 10 days past ovulation today. On 8 days past ovulation, one test gave a faint line, which ended up being best described as an “evaporation line” but it had pink color to it. Yesterday and this morning (9 and 10 days past ovulation) the test gave a 2nd pink line, indicating pregnancy, but the line was not in the correct location for the test, and other tests taken from this same batch did not have a 2nd line anywhere. It’s as if the ink is “pooling” at the place where the absorbant pad and test area meet. I keep these tests level when they are developing, so this is not an error on my part.

I definitely would not recommend these tests. I feel like I was cheated out of Wondfo’s and then given false hope on tests that don’t work as they should. It’s not worth 22 cents a test when you have to use several just to get one to work right.

I found the true track test strips I purchased from Amazon.com to be a good product that never failed .Previously I had bought a simular
box of test strips from Walgreens and not only did it cost me more money but several strips failed to work . After that experience I have been ordering my test strips from Amazon.com , not only for it being cheaper but because it is painful to have to stick your self again because of failure on the products fault .

  14. Metcalfe says:

I received the purchase on time which I was very pleased but when I open the box , one of the products that I ordered the expiration date will be in 3 months. I won’t have time to used!!!!. How can the seller expect to used all the strip in this short period of time?

  15. Jason says:

I was glad to find this item at this price. It arrived faster than expected and worked great. A great value, see and compare to other glucose strips…

  16. Markell says:

Exactly the product I wanted, 1/3 to 1/2 cheaper than at the drug store.
    Highly recommend!

  17. Halley says:

I bought these test strips to use in my Alpha Track meter for my dog. The meter and strips are made by the same company and fit in the meter.

As far as numbers. These strips are off by 10-15+/- points vs the regular Alpha Track test strips. Which is a good enough. Plus the cost is 1/2 that of the Alpha Track kind.

  18. Hillier says:

This item is alot cheaper to buy online than to purchase in store. Delivery was quick and the product works. I was initially worried that the product would have an expiration date that was too soon and wouldn’t have enough time to use all the test strips before it expired. However that wasn’t a problem since the expiration date was about a year from date of purchase. One happy buyer.

  19. Dardeau says:

product works fine, very rarly get a bad test strip. Unfortunately for me, the store I purchased these from was VERY slow in shipping my order.
