I have bought two of these and one works, fairly well, but the other I bought to give a different feel I accidently trashed it by getting the water too hot, and the stick sent was too narrow, so that the whole thing dropped odd the stick and into boiling water and then melted together. I wrote the company asking for a third one at a reduced price and he offered me 15% off on the next one I order. The price is most reasonable but they charge too much for the shipping and handling,(about half of its price) .Snore Guard Mouthpiece Night Sleep Aid Snoring

This product is a waste of money. It does not mold well at all. It just creates a lot of saliva and it ends up slipping out of the mouth at night.

  2. Killmer says:

This product works great, but the design is hard and not plyable. It hurts my front teeth, keeps me kinda awake and my teeth are that of a normal adult with an overbite.
The first night no problem my wife was amazed and happy sher got a good nihgts sleep besides the fact she kept checking on me to make sure I was alive…..LOL….. The second night was okay then my front teeth were hurting really bad kept me up again, soo I tried to run it under little bit of hot water for a sec…. soften it up, but it would just get hard again when I put in again….. I need something more plyable or something that I can mold to my mouth.
    Any suggestions would help.
It might work well for some that need to be a little more stiffer. Also, sorry there was no instructions when the package arrived just the mouthpiece packaged in its case in a padded manilla lope.

  3. Chao says:

There were no instructions with the mouthpiece so we didn’t know of we were supposed to boil it to make it fit or use it the way it came.

  4. Hodson says:

I have been using the SnoreMeds mouthpiece for about 4 months now. I am using the third one and about to order a fourth. I have struggled with non-refreshing sleep for 10 years. The mouthpiece let me wake up refreshed! I do not feel drowsy and have much more energy throughout the day. Molding is not a big deal, just remember to push your jaw forward (comfortably) and bite down hard and hold it that way for at least half a minute. Then put the mouthpiece in ice-cold water. I do wake up with a slightly sore jaw/teeth on some days, but it lasts for a few minutes only.
Also, in my experience, the jaw does not remain in the intended position throughout the night. As I fall asleep, my jaws relax and the teeth are a little bit out of the mouthpiece. Despite this, the presence of the mouthpiece does keep the airway open by preventing the collapse of the upper palate.
Just to check, I slept on some days without the mouthpiece, and felt miserably drowsy the next day! I have been diagnosed with sleep apnea and just could not do the CPAP. Although the manufacturers say the mouthpiece is not for those with sleep apnea, I would say it is good as a temporary remedy. I am now considering a dentist-made custom mouthpiece.
This review and recommendation is entirely based on my experience. Hope yours is similar too!

Don’t bother, it’s a total waste of money!!!! I followed the directions to the letter and even used a timer. The plastic rolled up before I could pop it in my mouth. In addition, it shrank to the size for a toddlers use. My suggestion, go to your doctor &/or dentist and get the device from a professional. Short cuts do not work with this type of device!!!

  6. Calhoun says:

My husband has turned into a terrible snorer. Started a few years ago – mostly towards morning. Has gotten to the buzz saw stage where he starts nearly as soon as his head hits the pillow and goes all night until the alarm clock.

He tried the nose strips and sprays and everything else over the counter. Asked his doctor – advised to lose some weight, stop drinking alcohol, avoid certain foods. And none of that was going to happen with him in any consistency enough to possibly make a difference.

We were at the point of trying a mouth guard. Insurance won’t cover the ones the dentist’s provide (over $600 out of pocket!) unless he went the sleep study route and was diagnosed with sleep apnea. Because we were now fighting over the bed at night (who has to go to the couch) we were ready to go thru this process even though there would still be no garuntee the snoring would stop.

Looked online and couldn’t find enough positive stuff to really point to any one mouth guard as being better over the other so I went with one that was, well, the cheapest. For less than $30 I felt it was worth a shot.

We have both now had 4 nights of totally uninterrupted sleep. Me not being forced to endure the noise and him not getting ‘nudged’ constantly. It was truly amazing as the very first night he used it he ceased totally in the snoring!

This device may not be for everyone’s needs but I highly recommend that if you were anywhere near in the same situation as us to definitely give this a try.

The packaging does say it needs to be replaced every 3-4 months – I will happily do this for the results we are getting.

This is a fantastic mouthpiece, comfortable to wear, and really stops the snoring. We were sleeping in separate rooms. I just couldn’t tolerate his snoring anymore. And now we’re back together.

  8. DeClerk says:

I purchased this item to help with my snoring but I could never get it to stay in my mouth. I always found it on the bed or floor in the morning. Will SnoreWizard refund my money ?

  9. Guttman says:

The mouthpiece works very well for about 5 minutes. It holds your jaw forward, which really opens the airway. I can see how it would reduce snoring.

Unfortunately, after a few minutes the plastic warms up and gets just a little bit softer and more flexible. That allows the back part of the mouthpiece, the ‘wings’ where your molars bite down, to spread out toward your cheek. At that point the whole thing flips forward, driving the wings up into your gums.

Maybe fishing line would work to tie the mouthpiece together in the back so it can’t spread open anymore. Anyway, I’m diappointed. It was a lot of money to spend.

  10. Jimenez says:

Per my wife, my snoring is signficantly reduced when I use this product. I find myself more rested in the morning as well. I appreciate the hole in the middle of the product, knowing that I can breathe through my mouth if I need to. As I was perusing anti-snoring devices, I was a bit scared of chinstraps and possibly suffocating myself if I wasn’t able to breate through my nose. There is some minor tooth/mouth pain in the morning, but generally it is gone by the time I’m out of the shower. Overall, highly recommended.

  11. Musick says:

It has definitely helped with my snoring. I can sleep on my back now. The first night I used it I woke up the next morning in the same postion (on my back) that I went to sleep in, and the blankets were undisturbed. Usually the blankets are all over the place from a restless sleep. The one-size-fits-all makes it slightly uncomfortable. It will shift in my mouth at times putting pressure on my upper gums, which causes a slight pain. In the packaging they encourage trimming the part to remove ill-fitting portions. I am hesistant to do this for fear of creating rough edges to its smooth finish. I assume a custom fit model would prevent discomfort, but I am unwilling to pay the $400 I was quoted from two separate dentists. There is $180 model online that will send you something to make an impression of your bite that you would return for a custom fit, and that may work better. All in all I am happy with the results. The price is relatively cheap, and I am sleeping better.

  12. Kwon says:

I bought this item and it is to small for an adult nose unless, you have a very small nose! I put it in and it cut down my air flow. I could breath better without it! It got here fast, but not worth it for me!

If it had a larger size diameter and the tubes were a bit longer it might be an ok device. Seems they only have *medium* and that seems *very small*!

Snoreben – Say Goodbye to Snoring and Hello to a Quiet Comfortable Nights Sleep

  13. Ludden says:

The cones are very small. My nostrills are not even large and these were far too small for me. Try Nozovent. A much more universal product.

  14. James says:

I felt ashamed to have passed judgment on Snoreben without giving myself the time to adapt to this extraordinarily simple but effective product. I was somewhat frustrated when I found that the product was not meeting my initial expectation. Having bought 3 pairs of Snoreben, I felt like I have been ripped off. The frustration is a reaction to almost 2 decades of suffering from snoring without finding any means to overcome it.

Somehow, something in me told me that I should get back to using Snoreben and put some faith in this little product.

I have to admit that even though Snoreben was hard to adapt to initially, the first positive feeling that I felt when I used Snoreben was that the airflow in my nasal (passageway) felt a lot better. I could breathe easier even though it looks like something was sticking and blocking my passageway. And the best thing was that I no longer wake up to a dry and uncomfortable mouth!

So after using Snoreben for close to 2 months, I have POSITIVE feedback from my wife as well as a friend (after rooming with him during an outing) that my snoring has reduced a lot. Knowing that my snoring is not frighteningly loud and embarrassing is already a big step forward, and I know that with continued use of Snoreben, I will see improvements to my sleep and my marriage.

  15. Allbright says:

This product works great. I needed something to keep my nasal passages open while sleeping. I tried several other products trying to find the best one. The Snoreben did the job. I now rest and breathe comfortably at night.
